We have all of the equipment that your child will need for their swimming lessons. We do not use arm bands as a swim school, but we have woggles and floats available during our lessons. A number of our toddlers also like to wear swim vests, we highly recommend the Konfidence vests.
I am bringing my baby swimming, do they need anything specific?
We use a double nappy system at our swim school, so your little one will need to wear a regular swim nappy along with a neoprene nappy over the top (these can be found at Konfidence, Amazon, Boots, Decathlon etc).
It's my first lesson, what do I need to do?
Please arrive at your lessons around 10 minutes prior to your start time. Follow the signage at the site to the pool and changing rooms, you may be asked to wear shoe covers. Once your little one is changed hop onto the poolside where they’ll be met by their teacher to start their lesson. You will then collect your child from their teacher at the end of the lesson.
Do I receive a refund if I can't make a lesson?
Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds to lessons if you are unable to make them, but we will always try our best to offer a catch up lesson where we can. If lessons are cancelled by us, then these will be refunded or a catch up class will be arranged.
How do I book lessons?
For now you will need to contact us via email or on our facebook page to see what availability we have. Soakly are working hard to create a booking system, but until then all bookings are manual. You are covered by a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking confirmation.
How do I track my child's progress?
You can view your child's progress at any time using your Soakly profile. We aim to update these every half term. You can always speak directly to your child's teacher too for verbal feedback on how your child is doing.
How much are lessons?
Lessons start from £8 per class
How long are lessons?
Lessons are 30 minutes in length
How do payments work?
Payments are made through our soakly app either in monthly instalments based on how many lessons fall within a month, or a block booking for a half term. We are unable to offer pay as you go lessons.
What happens when I need to cancel?
We understand circumstances can change but we’ll always do whatever we can to keep your swimmer enjoying their lessons. You can request to cancel via email and a member of the team will be in touch to confirm your final access date. Thirty days’ notice from your next payment date is required.
Do you offer SEND lessons?
We don't have specific SEND group lessons, but we offer 121 classes for SEND children where we can tailor sessions to support their individual needs. We aim to make our lessons as inclusive as possible, we have social stories available and SNED swimmer profiles for you to complete for your child to ensure your child feels ready for their swimming lessons.
